The Loyola Marymount Campus recently celebrated the Lunar New Year with a variety of events. The event was a collaboration of Ethnic & Intercultural Services with Asian Pacific Student Services, Office for International Students & Scholars and Han Tao (Chinese Student Association) to commemorate the Lunar New Year.
The celebration took place at Alumni Mall on February 24. It included a Lion Dance Performance by students from Han Tao and cultural cooking demonstration at the International House.
The Lunar New Year is an Asian cultural holiday that is based on the lunar cycles of the moon and is celebrated by a number of Asian countries. Check out these photos from the event.
