lmu exp blog thanksgiving 2017 1 620x413 - 4 Students Give Thanks for LMU

With Thanksgiving coming up this week, we’d like to reflect on what we are lucky to have at our school. The LMU EXP Blog decided to ask a few of our fellow Lions what they’re thankful for:

“I’m thankful for our campus radio station, KXLU 88.9 FM because it offers students a place to be connected to the independent music industry in a way that offers tangible results.”

— Braden Wells ‘19

“I’m thankful for being a part of Delta Kappa Alpha at LMU, because through the organization I’ve learned more about the film industry and become a part of a group that supports one another during and after college.”

— Drew Gibson ‘18

“Everyone enjoys the bluff, the scenery is amazing. I love the views and amazing environment that surrounds. It’s a beautiful place. Eventually It would be nice to live on this terrific spot.”

— Ryan O’Doherty ‘20

“I’m thankful for LMU’s dedication to service and influence on student leadership. These programs offer a venue for students to practice discipline and creativity. I also am very appreciative for my experience working with the Laband Art Gallery. Being surrounded by creativity helps stimulate my mind and keep me engaged with my work.”

— Leeza Lester ‘19

Loyola Marymount University is an amazing institution with so many opportunities socially, academically, and professionally. Take some time this week to reflect on what we’re lucky to have in life. From the staff here at Student Affairs, happy Thanksgiving!
