Think Pink 5K a Success

LMU’s eighth annual Think Pink 5K took place on Saturday, Oct. 25. All proceeds from the on-campus race went to the American Cancer Society. The event was sponsored by  ASLMU, Campus Recreation, Delta Gamma, Sigma Lambda Gamma and several LMU service organizations. Participants chose to run or walk the one-and-half-mile course around campus, starting and ending in front of Gersten Pavilion. More than 180 people participated in this year’s event.

“Think Pink was a great way to bring a number of organizations together to raise awareness and support a good cause, especially for the number of families and friends the LMU community has that have been touched by cancer,” said sophomore marketing major Allie Rosehill.
