As we enter into the second half of the fall semester, things can get stressful and we want to remind each of you how important it is to take time and prioritize your mental health and wellness.
1. Visit Wellness Wednesday 11 a.m.-2 p.m. on Regents Grass – This weekly event will feature programming, arts, crafts, and community partners. On a rotating basis, the community partners will be selling produce from local farmers, pastries, tamales, coffee, and more.
2. Take a Timeout on Tuesday – This 30-minute in-person guided meditation will ground you for the week and help you preserve your self-wellness.
3. Try TimelyCare for Mental Health Support – TimelyCare, a teletherapy program available to LMU students, delivers access to 24/7 mental virtual health care from anywhere in the U.S., at no cost. Whether you’re anxious or overwhelmed, you will be able to talk to a licensed provider from your smartphone or any web-enabled device.
4. Reflect in LMU’s Sacred Spaces and Peaceful Places – Need some time to reflect and meditate? The bluff has many spaces all over campus to take some time to slow down, quiet your mind, reflect and meditate.
5. Take a Group Fitness Class – With as many as 30+ classes each week, the FitWell Center offers an exciting environment for exercise and fitness needs. With a wide variety of group fitness classes including F45, Yoga, Cycling, Zumba and more, each class is taught by a certified instructor.
